How the Referral Program Works

  • You earn 10% of CloudBlue’s billable service fees (ex GST) for each successful referral

  • Commissions are capped at AUD $3,000 per referred client

  • Commission applies for 18 months from the client’s first paid invoice

  • Earnings are based on actual services delivered and paid, at CloudBlue’s current rates

There are no upfront costs, no quotas, and no pressure.


What Qualifies as a Referral

To ensure fairness and transparency, referrals must meet the following criteria:

  • The introduction must be made in writing (email is sufficient)

  • The client must be new to CloudBlue

  • They must not be a current or former CloudBlue client

  • They must not already be in discussion with CloudBlue

  • The referral must not already be submitted by another party


Client Standards & Eligibility

CloudBlue works with organisations that value professional engagement and long-term partnerships. Commission eligibility is subject to the following:

  • Commission is paid only on amounts actually received by CloudBlue

  • Refunds or credits must not exceed 10% of billed fees

  • Clients must engage respectfully and professionally

  • Clients must execute and comply with CloudBlue’s Service Agreement and NDA

If these standards are not met, commission payments may be paused or discontinued.


How CloudBlue Delivers Services

To ensure quality and consistency across all clients, CloudBlue operates under a clear engagement model:

  • Services are delivered on a time-based consultancy model

  • We do not offer fixed-fee delivery projects

  • We invest 3–4 hours of initial scoping at no cost

  • Complex planning, SOWs, or tender responses require a pre-paid 10-hour scoping pack

  • We do not complete detailed tenders or in-depth SOW documentation unless time is paid

This approach ensures sustainable outcomes—for clients, partners, and referrals alike.


Payments & Reporting

  • You will receive quarterly referral reports outlining:

    • Active referred clients

    • Billable services delivered

    • Commission earned

  • Commissions are paid quarterly in arrears, within 14 days of quarter end

  • Payments are made directly to your nominated bank account

  • Commissions apply only after cooling-off and refund periods have passed


No Pressure, No Obligations

  • No minimum number of referrals

  • No exclusivity requirements

  • CloudBlue reserves the right to assess and accept referrals at its discretion


Annual Program Review

The CloudBlue Referral Program is reviewed annually to ensure it remains fair, competitive, and aligned with industry best practice.
